Sayed himself has taken up a job as an apprentice in a fruit shop, contributing 200 Afghanis a week ($2.85) to help his family make ends meet. His mother, sadly, is unable to work after being diagnosed with tuberculosis, adding to the family’s financial strain.
But despite these hardships, Sayed’s dedication to his education is unwavering. He is determined to stay in school and one day fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor, a goal that drives him to work harder every day.
